5-5：what的用法
what是最常见的复合关系代词，也是最容易使用的一种。
1.首先我们要了解，what做复合关系代词时，可视为the thing(s) which,通常译成“所……的东西”。
例：what he said is true.
（他所说的话是真的。）
i am interested in what he is doing.
（我对他目前所做的事很有兴趣。）
2.用what造句时，要注意下列原则：
（1）前面不可有先行词（名词）；
（2）将what视为the thing(s) which;
（3）which在所引导的形容词从句中可做主语、宾语或be动词的补语。
例：what bothers me is that i have no time.
=the thing which bothers me is that i have no time.
（让我困扰的是我没有时间。）
本例中what之前无名词。what变成the thing which之后，which在所引导的形容词从句中做主语，故结构正确。
例：i don't believe the words what he said.(x)
在本例中，what之前多了先行词the words。
改正：i don't believe what he said.(o)
=i don't believe the words(which) he said.(o)
（我不相信他说的话。）
