非谓语动词
2-3：分词做名词
凡可做形容词用的分词（也就是可以译成“……的”之分词），前面冠以定冠词the，可当作单数或复数的名词使用。
例：the wounded were rushed to the hospital.
= wounded people were rushed to the hospital.
（伤者被急送医院。）
the unexpected has happened.
= something (which) we didn't expect has happened.
（意料之外的事情发生了。）
the living should learn to cherish life.
= living people should learn to cherish life.
（活着的人应学着珍惜生命。）
