过去将来时指的是立足于过去的时间看将来，多用于宾语从句中，上述一般将来时的表达法，除一般现在时外，其他几种形式相应的过去式都可用来表示过去未来时间。下面的句子就分别用了一般将来时几种表达法的相应的过去式，其用法与一般将来时相同。
以动词go为例
肯定句
I should go.
You would go.
He / She / It would go
We should go.
You / They would go.
否定句
I should not go.
You would not go.
He / She / It would not go
We should not go.
You / They would not go.
例子：
David said he would come back the next day.
大卫说他第二天会回家。
I thought it was going to snow.
我原以为要下雪了。
He asked when the train was arriving.
他问火车几点钟到。
