61.现在分词构成复合结构
1.在不少动词后可用现在分词构成复合宾语(即作宾语补语)：
I saw Tom waving to me．
我看见汤姆向我挥手。
I'm sorry to keep you waiting．
对不起让你久等了。
I heard someone entering the house．
我听见有人进屋来。
She noticed a man behaving strangely．
她发现一个人行动很诡异。
The words immediately set us all laughing．
这番话立即逗得大家笑了起来。
He found a tree lying across the road．
他发现一棵树拦在路中间。
I left him talking to Bob．
我留下他和鲍勃谈话。
2.在see，hear，feel等动词后，可以跟现在分词构成的复合结构，也可以跟不带to的不定式构成的复合结构，在表示动作完成时用不定式，在表示动作正在进行时用现在分词，如：
We saw him leave the house．
我们看见他离开了这房子。(动作已完成)
We saw him standing at the door．
我们看见他在门口站着。(动作在进行)
Delighted to hear you say that．
很高兴听见你这样讲话。(动作完成)
I heard the wind blowing．
我听见在刮风。(动作正在进行)
有时两种结构差别不大：
I often heard him sing （-ing) this song．
我常常听他唱这首歌。
He watched the sun set （-ing）behind the trees．
他望着太阳在树后西沉。
3.这类结构也可改为被动形式：
We have been kept waiting for a long time．
他们让我们等了很长时间。
He was often seen working in the fields．
人们常常看见他在地里干活。
She was never heard singing that song again．
人们再也没有听她唱这首歌了。
这时现在分词就构成了复合谓语。
4.介词后也可以跟复合宾语：
She listened to David playing the piano．
她听大卫弹钢琴。
Thomas looked at him waiting there．
托马斯瞧着他等在那里。
1 won't be able to go on holiday with my mother being i11．
我母亲病了，我没法去度假了。
You can't do anything here with out everybody knowing．
