本人于2007年3月6日自《台北时报》获悉贵公司征求业务和物流员工一名,特来信应征。

You will see from my attached CV that I am a business major at Hao Li Hai University.

从所附的履历表可得知本人为好厉害大学的商学院学生。

I am currently in the final stages of my dissertation on marketing in China, which includes a chapter on the importance of logistics and distribution. I will graduate this June. I am excited by the opportunities for career development in this field,and I already have some experience with technical sales and marketing from my vacation jobs.

目前本人正在撰写论文的最后阶段,论文以在大中华营销为题,且其中有一章是关于物流和配销的重要性,将于今年六月毕业。本人非常期待能有机会在此领域发展生涯,故在过去放假打工时已在技术性业务和营销方面有过一些经验。

In the summer of 2006 I worked as a temporary sales clerk for Campho Ltd., a photographic equipment manufacturer and exporter. While at Campho my duties included selling to overseas buyers,demonstrating the equipment,and matching new products with existing customers. Among my achievements for Campho were bringing in bulk orders worth NT$6 and NT$9 .5 million respectively from two new customers through my contacts as treasurer of my university Photographers Association. I was also responsible for maintaining after sales service,for which I set up and systematized a customer inquiry database to assist in providing a more targeted after-sales service.

在2006年夏,本人曾在Campho担任临时售货员。Campho为一家摄影设备制造商暨出口商。在Campho任职期间,本人职责包括对外商销售产品,以及为现有客户示范操作和推荐适合的新产品。在Campho的成就之一为通过在大学摄影社担任财务股长的人脉,为公司带来两个新客户,客户所下的大宗订单各为公司带来价值新台币600万和950万元的收人。此外,本人亦负责维持产品的售后服务,为此特别建立了客户询问资料库,并将之系统化以提供更具目标化的售后服务。

I also worked as a stock control clerk for Costco during the busy Christmas and Chinese New Year season of 2006. My job there was to assist in the management of green goods supply. This is particularly challenging,as these goods are perishable and cannot be stored for long. Prompt delivery of new stock is essential. I established good relations with new and existing suppliers and was able to keep the store continuously well stocked in spite of the unpredictable peaks and troughs in demand.

本人还曾在繁忙的圣诞节和2005年春节期间在好市多担任库存控制员,职责为协助绿色生鲜产品的供给管理。此职务甚具挑战性,因为绿色生鲜产品容易毁损,不能长久储存,新货的快速寄运非常重要。本人与新旧供应商建立了良好关系,得以在不稳定的高峰期和低谷期持续维持适当的库存水准。

In 2005 I worked as a sales clerk in my local 7-Eleven store,where I learned the basics of inventory management. While there I reorganized the storeroom and created more space for storage and thus reduced the need for frequent deliveries. I identified some problems with the in-store inventory controls and upgraded them. I was given the responsibility of training other sales clerks in the new system. I also worked as a telemarketer5 for Hai Hao La Buxiban in the summer of 2004,and achieved the highest sales targets of the summer.

在2005年,本人在社区中的7-Eleven打工,因而学到了存货管理的基本须知。此外,在工作期间并帮商店重整储藏空间,以挪出更多空间储藏货物,故可降低订货频率。本人甚至发现店内存货控制上的一些问题并将系统升级。后来被指派训练其他售货员使用新系统。本人也曾于2004年在还好拉补习班从事电话营销员一职,并达到暑期最高业绩目标。
