本人于2007年3月6日自《经济学人》获悉贵公司征求国际税务专员一名，特来信应征。
You will see from my attached CV that I am a CPA and ACCA member with proven experience in providing individuals and corporations with innovative tax solutions. I have excellent client relations skills，and experience with utilizing international tax environments to make tax cost savings for my clients.
从所附的履历表可得知本人为执业会讨一师与国际特许公认会一计师会员，具有提供企业和个人高所得报税咨询服务的实际经验。本人具备绝佳的客户关系技巧，以及曾利用国际税制为客户节税的经验。
For the last two years I have been working as a client service manager and tax consultant with KPGM. My present position mainly involves managing tax affairs in all areas of taxation for three international corporate clients with operations in Taiwan，two of whom are in the IT sector，and one in the pharmaceutical sector. I have been able to achieve average tax savings of 5 percent for all my clients within one year. In addition，I increased tax savings by 25 percent for one client in particular by utilizing loopholes in regional offshore tax regulations. I have been able to develop and maintain excellent relations with the new CFO of one of my clients. This has resulted in increased business for my company.
在过去两年当中，本人一直在KPGM担任客户服务经理与税务顾问。目前的职位主要负责管理三个国际企业客户各个方面的税务，其中有两个客户是在信息科技业，另一个是在药剂业。本人曾在一年内为所有客户成功节省了5%的税。此外，还曾利用地区性海外税制的漏洞，特别为一个客户额外节省了25%的税。本人与其中一个客户新上任的首席财务长建立和维持极好的关系，也因此为公司带来更高的收人。
From 1997 to 2000 I was an accounting clerk for Sunshine CPA in Taiwan. My duties there included advising foreign entrepreneurs setting up businesses in Taiwan，As well as advising them on all aspects of taxation，including employment tax，stamp duties，business tax，and capital gains，I also created bespoke financial systems for my corporate clients，in order to make their tax reporting process easier and more transparent. I also advised on international tax planning needs for high net worth individuals. I brought in five new clients for the company during my time there，largely through referrals from existing clients，which increased company revenue by 32 percent.
从1997到2000年，本人在台湾阳光执业会计事务所担任会计员一职，在此职务包括为外企提供各方面的税务咨询服务，包括就业税、印花税、营业税和资本利得税，本人亦为企业客户建立了预设财务系统，让客户的报税过程更加方便和透明。本人也为富有的个人投资者提供国际税务规划等方面的咨询服务。本人在此公司服务期间曾带进五个新客户，主要渠道是通过现有客户的推荐，更因而为公司增加了32%的收人。
From 2001 to 2005 I worked in-company for two major Taiwanese IT companies，where I led teams of finance personnel .I guided my teams in producing meticulous reports，and trained some of them for the local CPA test.
从2001到2005年，本人曾在台湾两大信息科技公司担任公司的内部职位，在这两家公司中均为领导财务人员的工作团队。本人指导工作团队制作出严谨的报告，并训练部分成员参加当地的执业会计师执照考试。
I am scrupulous，hard working，and proactive in taking care of my clients’needs. I am also keen to learn and develop new technical skills. I am currently in the final stages of my MBA，writing my thesis on international tax law, focusing on the Asia-Pacific Region. I believe I am suitably qualified and experienced for the job advertised.
