日常生活职场英语日记第14篇：不是陷阱(双语)
the rain is back again. i'm not going to let it bother me, though. i wanted to go for a bike ride, but i guess i'll do something indoors instead. it's okay. i need to get some housework done anyway.
又开始下雨了，但我不想再为天气烦心。我原本是想去骑骑单车，不过想想做点室内活动也不错，反正家务本来就得做。
my apartment is such a mess. i think i will do my laundry, clean my bathroom, and vacuum this morning. sunday is a good day for cleaning.
公寓乱得要命，早土应该洗洗衣服、打扫卫生间，然后(用吸尘器)吸吸地才对。星期天蛮适合用来打扫的。
also, my newlywed friends, jen and chris, invited me to their new house for a dinner party tonight. i haven't seen them much since their wedding a couple of months ago, so i am thrilled.
另外，我一对刚结婚不久的朋友珍和克里斯邀我今晚到他们新家聚餐。他们几个月前结婚后，我就不常遇见他们了，所以很兴奋。
jen mentioned that chris has invited one of his single friends from work. she assured me it's not a set-up, which is a relief. i mean, i'd really love to meet a nice guy and i know i have been complaining about being single, but it's too much pressure!
珍提到克里斯也邀请了他一个单身同事过来，保证不是要陷害我，只是想让大家轻松认识一下而已。我是想认识个好男人没错啦，我也知道自己常抱怨还是单身的事，可是压力实在还是有点大哦!
what if we don't get along? what if he's a loser? what if he's got bad breath? yuck. well, i'm crossing my fingers that it's a laid back, casual evening with good friends-no expectations. then again, he might be really cute!
如果我们处不来呢?万一他很逊呢?有口臭怎么办?真恶心。好吧，就当晚上只是和一群好朋友随便轻松聚聚，不要特别期待什么。不过话说回来，搞不好他很可爱哦!
