日常生活职场英语日记第42篇：进退两难(双语)
i'm having a dinner party tonight. il love to cook and it's been too long since i've had people over. i love entertaining and people over. i love entertaing and i don't do it nearly often enough. it's going to be a busy day, i need to run to the geocery store to get some food and wine.
今晚要请朋友过来聚餐。我喜欢下厨，而且也很久没请朋友过来坐坐了。我喜欢招待朋友，但差不多很久才一次。所以今天有得忙了，我得跑去杂货店买些食物和酒。
i also have to tidy up my apattment before everyone gets here. i'm not sure what i will make yet, but i don't want to spend the whole everying in the kitchen.
然后在大家还没到之前把公寓收拾干净。我还没决定要煮什么菜，不过我并不想整晚都待在厨房里。
pasta is easy and i want to try this clam sauce recipe i found in the newspaper. i need to check if any my guests are allergic to seafood.
做意大利面比较容易，而且我也想试试报纸上提到的蛤绷酱烹饪法;不过得先确认一下有没有哪位客人对海鲜过敏。
there's one problom. i can't decide if i want to invite sean or not> i don't think i am ready to introduce him to friends yet. ye've only had a couple of dates and i like him, but i don't want to move too fast.
还有一个问题，我拿不定主意要不要请西恩过来，我觉得自己还没准备好要把他介绍给朋友认识。我们才约会几次，虽然我喜欢他，但不想发展得那么快。
if i invite him over will it seem like i am already his girlfriend? i hardly know him.
如果我邀请他，会不会好像我已经是他女朋友了?我觉得对他还不够了解。
