日常生活职场英语日记第45篇：劳拉意外来访(双语)
great news! last night i got an email from my friend laura, who has been traveling in australia for the last 6 months. she is flying home and has arranged a stopover here so we can hang out for a couple of days before she heads home.
天大的好消息!昨晚我收到好友劳拉的电子邮件，她去澳大利亚旅行半年了，现在要飞回家。她计划在这里中途停留，和我叙旧几天再走。
i am so excited! i'm working through my lunch break so that i can leave the office early to pick her up at the airport. her flight arrives at 5 pm,so if i leave at 4 pm and there is not too much traffic, i should make it there right on time.
我好兴奋哦!午休时间我没休息继续工作，这样就能早点下班去机场接她。她的班机5点到，如果我4点离开又不塞车的话，应该可以准时到。
this is going to be so fun! laura is the funnuest person i know. she makes me laugh so hard. she's bound to have some hilarious stories about her crazy adventures down under and i can hardly wait to hear them.
和劳拉见面一定会很好玩，她是我认识的最有趣的人，每次都让我笑到合不拢嘴。这次疯狂的澳洲冒险一定有很多乐子，我等不及要一饱耳福了。
i can't believe she spent 6 months traveling by herself, backpacking across the country. she's so brave. i'm not sure i would have the courage to just take off and go to a completely different country on my own.
真不敢相信她竟能背着背包风尘仆仆，独自在那个国家到处旅行了半年，真的好勇敢。要我鼓起勇气冲上飞机，一个人跑到一个完全陌生的国度，可真是一点把握也没有。
knowing laura,she probably met lots of people and made friends wherever she went. she's just one of those people taht you can't help but love.
我了解劳拉，不管到哪里她大概都能认识很多人、交很多好朋友。她就是那种你很难不去喜欢的人。
