a 3-year-old british boy on an easter egg hunt saturday morning, discovered a live hand grenade, the daily mail reported。
the boy was actually standing on the device when an adult, mr moffatt, spotted him。
he said: "we were beginning to count the eggs at the end of the hunt and i saw a boy of three standing on an object."
the object was brown, about 4 inches high and looked like an easter egg, but in fact was a hand grenade。
the grenade, believed to be a second world war relic, was found in a field next to a busy road. the bomb disposal team carried out a controlled explosion。

这个棕色的东西大约4英寸长，看起来很像一个复活节彩蛋，但事实上却是一枚手榴弹。
这枚手榴弹应该是二战时留下的，被埋在闹市街区旁的一块地里。后来，拆弹组安全引爆了这枚手榴弹。
