欧盟外长同意对伊朗实施联合国制裁 (EU Foreign Ministers Agree to Implement UN Sanctions Against Iran)

欧盟各国外交部长同意对针对伊朗拒绝停止浓缩铀活动实施联合国制裁方案。欧盟官员星期一在比利时首都布鲁塞尔举行的会议上，正式接受了联合国安理会去年12月通过的1737号决议授权的一系列制裁措施。

这项决议要求禁止对伊朗销售能够被用来发展核武器和导弹项目的原料和技术。制裁措施还包括冻结10个伊朗公司及个人的资产。

欧盟外交政策负责人索拉纳表示，欧盟希望继星期天在慕尼黑与伊朗最高核谈判代表举行他所称的“良好”会谈后继续保持与伊朗之间的对话。但是，索拉纳也表示，德黑兰明白欧盟希望它采取什么样的行动。

欧盟外交部长还同意，如果伊朗放弃核浓缩项目，就继续给伊朗提供经济好处。

European Union foreign ministers have agreed to implement U.N. sanctions against Iran for refusing to stop uranium enrichment. At a meeting Monday in Brussels, Belgium, the EU officials formally adopted a series of sanctions authorized by a U.N. Security Council resolution 1737 last December.

The resolution calls for a ban on selling materials and technology to Iran that could be used in its nuclear and missile programs. The sanctions also include a freeze on the assets of 10 Iranian companies and individuals.

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana says the EU wants to maintain dialogue with Iran following what he described as a "good" meeting Sunday with Iran's top nuclear negotiator in Munich. But, Solana also says that Tehran knows what the EU wants it to do.

The EU foreign ministers also agreed to continue offering a package of economic incentives to Iran if it abandons nuclear enrichment.
