参加北韩核项目六方会谈的北韩特使说，星期五在北京举行的双边会谈中，他与美方特使就一些问题取得了一致意见。

北韩特使金桂冠没有透露会谈细节，但表示，彼此间依然存在分歧，双方正在努力解决。

金桂冠是在六方核会谈的第二天说这番话的。这也是自中国星期四散发开始解除北韩核项目的行动步骤草案后金桂冠第一次对记者讲话。

美国首席谈判代表希尔表示，今天的讨论谈得好。今天早些时候，希尔曾表示，中国提出的计划草案为谈判提供了一个良好的起点。这项草案的内容尚未对外公布。

North Korea's envoy to six-party talks on its nuclear program says he has agreed with his U.S. counterpart on some issues during a bilateral meeting today in Beijing.

North Korean envoy Kim Kye Kwan did not provide details but said there are still differences that both countries are trying to work out.

His comments, during the second day of six-nation nuclear talks, are the first to reporters since China circulated a draft on Thursday detailing a proposed list of action steps to begin dismantling North Korea's nuclear program.

Chief U.S. negotiator Christopher Hill said today's discussions went well. Earlier today, Hill said the Chinese draft plan, which has not been made public, offers a good start for discussions.

Hundreds of worshippers at Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque threw stones at Israeli police amid continuing Muslim outrage over Israel's repair work near the holy site.

About 200 Israeli police entered the compound after Friday prayers, firing tear gas canisters and stun grenades to disperse the protesters.

At least 15 police officers and 18 protesters were hurt in the clashes.
