the dinner constitutes of ten top-level dishes as main course, including a dish of limited collection ah yat abalone; braised white truffle and and stewed wild honeycomb and cubilose. in addition, in the "package" is also included a one-night stay in the hotel's presidential suite with a hummer at disposition. performances such as suzhou pintan and suzhou embroideries will also be embodied during the reunion。
a manager surnamed wang said that it is the first time for the hotel to promote such delicacy, targeting high-end consumer groups. the manager said as their service is "made to measure", customers who want to book it can consult with the hotel. "this super dinner will start from 3 pm on new year's eve and end at 10 am the next day. special preferential demands are also open to talking," he said。
xia xueluan, a sociology professor from peking university said that such expensive dinners would fulfill the consumption demand of certain groups. “people should be guided for a rational consumption, not for excessiveness," xia said。

酒店一个姓王的经理称,这是该酒店首次推出如此大餐,服务对象为高端消费群体。王经理表示他们的服务属“量身定制”型,有需要的顾客可咨询酒店。“这场超级晚餐于新年前一天下午3天开始,会一直持续到第二天早晨10点。有需要特殊优惠待遇的,我们也可以考虑。”
北京大学社会学教授夏学銮认为,天价年夜饭满足了部分人群的消费需求。“但是人们应该有个理性消费的导向,而非过度,”夏教授说道。
