There is no frigate like a book
没有哪艘帆船像书本一样，
To take us lands away,
带我们跨越万水千山，
Nor any coursers like a page
也没有一匹骏马，
Of prancing poetry.
比得上一页欢腾的诗篇。
This traverse may the poorest take
没有旅费的窘迫，
Without oppress of toll;
最穷者也可以跋涉万里；
How frugal is the chariot
承载灵魂的战车，
That bears a human soul!
向来是如此素俭。
