祸不单行
As they say, "Misery loves company."
常言道：“祸不单行。”
In other words, trouble never comes by itself.
换言之，麻烦从不会只来一个。
This saying is appropriate when one bad thing happens after another.
不吉利的事接踵而来时，这句谚语再恰当也不过了。
Even if we are caught in such a situation, we should not despair.
但既令我们碰到这种情况，也不应绝望。
Instead, we should be patient and persevere,
相反地，我们应有耐心坚持下去，
for in time even the worst of times will pass.
因为最困苦的时刻也迟早都会过去。
