[01:42.90]There are plenty of gestures you need to be careful with when you’re meeting and greeting people from a culture that’s different to your own  当你和不同文化背景的人见面打招呼时，你要注意很多手势，
[01:49.50]C to avoid offending people C or making an awkward faux pas…  以免冒犯别人，或者造成尴尬的失态。
[01:53.50]If you make a faux pas it means you say or do something embarrassing in a social situation.  make a faux pas是指你在社交场合说了或做了尴尬的事。
[02:00.30] For example, our every day use of the thumbs-up signal might offend people from the Middle East.  例如，我们日常使用的大拇指朝上的手势，在中东会冒犯别人。

[04:56.70]Number three C a gesture is a movement you make with your hands or head to express what you are thinking or feeling.  第三个，手势是指你用手或头做的动作，以此表达你的想法或感受。

[05:45.50]so let’s move on to the final word C expressive C which means showing what you think or feel.  所以我们来说最后一个单词，有表达力的，是指展示你的想法或感受。
