So far, 2008 hasn’t seen remarkable numbers, February ended on a disappointing note with ticket sales hitting a 3-month low last weekend. Strait and his army take a journey through the wilderness in this action thriller, fighting men and giant beasts. Director Roland Emmerich topped charts(票房排行榜登顶) with his previous movies Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, Critics don't expect 10,000BC to reach the same kind of success, but this big budget film estimated at about 35 million dollars will likely be the box office winner this weekend. As if picking a college isn't stressful enough, having an overprotective dad follow you to every campus could make things even worse. Martin Lawrence and Raven Symoné team up in this comedy that critics think will draw up a solid crowd. College Road Trip is Lawrence's first G-rated movie, and Symone serves as a producer for this kid play. Lawrence's fans mixed in with Symone’s audience and Disney's tag could bolster up ticket sales. Traveling into over 2,700 theaters, College Road Trip could gross around 18 million dollars this weekend.
Based on a true story about a heist gone wrong, this film tells of a bank robbery in London where no arrests were ever made and no money was ever recovered. Jason Statham stars in the flick as Terry alongside Saffron Burrows who plays Martine. Movie critics don’t expect The Bank Job to be a major hit, the film is likely to only attract attention from Statham's core fan base.
