One of Dodi Fayed’s closest aides has broken a nine-year silence to reveal the truth about his relationship with Princess Diana- finally shattering Dodi’s father’s claims that the pair were in love.

Sara Blackiston told how Dodi two-timed Diana with his American fiancee Kelly Fisher-with neither woman aware that they were together in St Tropez with the same man. In July 1997，Sara was one of Dodi’s staff entrusted with the news that he was dating Princess Diana. The model, Kelly, who was telling her friends that she was going to wed Dodi within 12 months, had travelled to St Tropez to meet up with him in July 1997, unaware that he was also entertaining Diana and her sons aboard the family yacht.

“It was hilarious，" said Sara. “Dodi had Diana in the boat and Kelly in the villa, or vice versa. Eventually, I gather his father told him he had to send Kelly away and that he was to concentrate just on Diana.，’

A1 Fayed, the Egyptian billionaire has claimed that when Diana and Dodi were together in Paris in 1997 they told him she was four to five weeks pregnant and that the Princess had accepted his son’ s marriage proposal.

But Sara says Dodi mentioned neither life-changing event to his sister during a long telephone conversation just one hour before the car crash that claimed his life on August 31，1997.

Sara said: “There is no way in the world that Dodi and Diana would have kept something like that from Jasmine一Dodi’s half sister. He had been out with a lot of women but he was very much a slow burner where romance was concerned. He had only been seeing Diana for eight weeks when they died. He certainly wasn’t in love with her at that point, nor her with him.”

What was also clear to Sara was that Dodi's relationship with Diana was being very much driven by his father. “Before, Dodi had to keep running to his father for money because he was never given enough to make him truly independent. But when it came to Diana, that all changed. He would usually send flowers to his ladies but with Diana it was jewelry and diamonds. When Dodi started seeing Diana, he was given a gold VIP Harrods store card. He could buy whatever he wanted for Diana.”

He said they could not leave the Ritz because it was surrounded by paparazzi. Then he told Jasmine they had decided to break free of the paparazzi by taking Diana to his private apartment. But less than an hour later Dodi’s father was being woken to the news of the crash.”
