[00:10.60]The road ahead will be long. 
[00:15.52]Our climb will be steep. 
[00:18.15]We may not get there in one year or even in one term. 
[00:22.60]But, America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. 
[00:28.97]I promise you, we as a people will get there.
[00:33.80]There will be setbacks and false starts. 
[00:37.62]There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy 1 make as president. 
[00:43.82]And we know the government can't solve every problem. 
[00:47.84]But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. 
[00:52.33]I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. 
[00:56.58]And, above all, I will ask you to join in the work of remaking this nation, 
[01:06.55]the only way it's been done in America for 221 years―block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.  
[01:16.20]What began 21 months ago in the depths of winter cannot end on this autumn night.  
[01:23.34]This victory alone is not the change we seek. 
[01:27.87]It is only the chance for us to make that change. 
[01:31.44]And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were.  
[01:36.71]It can't happen without you, without a new spirit of service, a new spirit of sacrifice.  
[01:42.89]So let us summon a new  spirit of patriotism, of responsibility, 
[01:48.24]where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other.  
[01:56.12]Let us remember that, if this financial crisis taught us anything, 
[02:01.63]it's that we cannot have a thriving Wall Street while Main Street suffers.  
[02:08.62]In this country, we rise or fall as one nation, as one people.
