[00:05.79]That's the nineteen years I'm announcing my retirement from professional basketball. 
[00:11.28]It's now the time for me to begin my new life. 
[00:14.65]I would like to thank my mother and father for their support and guidance. 
[00:18.68]I would like especially thank my father, because without him, I wouldn't be here today. 
[00:24.77]Because it was him who met a young lady, who had a boy and he took us in. 
[00:30.76]He taught me the game, he taught me how to play the game, he taught me how to dominate the game. 
[00:36.91]So I just want to say, from son to father, thank you very much.

[00:44.37]And my mother, I can't forget about you, the most beautiful woman I've ever known in the world. 
[00:49.55]You always take care of me, 
[00:51.50]the days you spent with me, 
[00:52.61]you always brought me in the rooms and you always snort the cake, the milk and cookies,

[01:33.13]And for them, I'm very very grateful.

[01:38.54]I wanna thank the fans; the fans all around the world really really show me a lot of love. 
[01:44.95]Everyone now, I just wanna say thank you very much. 
[01:49.53]I'd like to thank the NBA and David Stern of what he has created here, for the NBA today. 
[01:55.96]I'm gonna miss a lot about the game. 
[01:57.98]I'm going to miss the competition, the camaraderie, the friendship, the fans, joking with the media, 
[02:05.49]and I'm gonna really miss the free throws. 
[02:07.70]Basketball has opened many doors in my life. 
[02:10.82]I represented the country in the Olympics. 
[02:13.47]And I secured my master's degree, 
[02:16.60]and now I'm working on my PhD in human resource development in the Barry university of Miami. 
[02:22.25]I've acted in award-winning movies such as Kazaam. 
[02:26.19]I've created a lot of businesses. 
[02:28.58]I've created lifelong friendships. 
[02:31.67]And most important, I was able to help those who need. 
[02:34.77]I have the privilege of playing for six great organizations. 
[02:38.49]I want to thank everyone associated with these organizations, 
[02:42.45]the owners, the management, trainers, equipment managers, ball boys, daily security and the list goes on. 
[02:50.33]You all contribute to my success, and I thank you very much.
