奥巴马每周电视演讲2013年11月23日:两党共同努力 促进经济发展(中英mp3+lrc)
[ti:11-23 Weekly Address - Working with Both Parties to Keep the Economy Moving Forward] [ar:] [by:www.pronounceword.com] [00:00.66]Hi, everybody. [00:02.50]Over the past couple months, most of the political headlines you’ve read have probably been about the government shutdown [00:07.64]and the launch of the Affordable Care Act. [00:10.35]And I know that many of you have rightly never been more frustrated with Washington. [00:14.77]But if you look beyond those headlines, [00:17.58]there are some good things happening in our economy. [00:20.17]And that’s been my top priority since the day I walked into the Oval Office. [00:24.39]After decades in which the middle class was working harder and harder just to keep up, [00:28.52]and a punishing recession that made it worse, [00:31.23]we made the tough choices required not just to recover from crisis, [00:34.97]but to rebuild on a new foundation for stronger, [00:38.60]more durable economic growth. [00:40.36]Five years later, [00:41.67]we have fought our way back. [00:43.48]Our businesses have created 7.8 million new jobs in the past 44 months. [00:48.63]Another 200,000 Americans went back to work last month. [00:52.79]The American auto industry has come roaring back with more than 350,000 new jobs [00:57.67]C jobs churning out and selling the high-tech, fuel-efficient cars the world wants to buy. [01:03.48]And they’re leading the charge in a manufacturing sector that has added jobs for the first time since the 1990s [01:09.85]C a big reason why our businesses [01:11.88]sell more goods and services “Made in America” [01:14.54]than ever before. [01:16.31]We decided to reverse our addiction to foreign oil. [01:18.78]And today, we generate more renewable energy than ever, [01:22.31]more natural gas than anybody, [01:24.48]and for the first time in nearly 20 years, [01:26.71]America now produces more oil than we buy from other countries. [01:32.26]We decided to fix a broken health care system. [01:34.94]And even though the rollout of the marketplace where you can buy affordable plans has been rough, [01:39.31]so far, about 500,000 Americans are poised to gain [01:42.63]health coverage starting January 1st. [01:45.84]And by the way, health care costs are growing at the slowest rate in 50 years. [01:51.23]And one more thing: [01:52.79]since I took office, we’ve cut our deficits by more than half. [01:56.64]And that makes it easier to invest in the things that create jobs [02:00.38]C education, research, and infrastructure. [02:04.33]Imagine how much farther along we could be if both parties were working together. [02:09.20]Think about what we could do if a reckless few didn’t hold the economy hostage every few months, [02:13.93]or waste time on dozens of votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act rather than try to help us fix it. [02:20.15]In the weeks ahead, I’ll keep talking about my plan to build a better bargain for the middle class. [02:25.35]Good jobs. [02:26.31]A good education. [02:27.53]A chance to buy a home, save, and retire. [02:31.30]And yes, the financial security of affordable health care. [02:34.55]And I’ll look for any willing partners who want to help. [02:38.90]Because of your hard work and tough sacrifices over the past five years, [02:41.77]we’re pointed in the right direction. [02:43.52]But we’ve got more work to do to keep moving that way. [02:47.60]And as long as I’m President, I’ll keep doing everything I can to create jobs, [02:50.92]grow the economy, [02:52.20]and make sure that everyone who works hard has a chance to get ahead. [02:57.30]Thanks, and have a great weekend.
