damage的用法
1. 用作名词，表示“损害”、“毁坏”等，是不可数名词。如：
The earthquake caused great damage. 这次地震造成了很大的损失。zn

【注】表示以上意义的 damage 是不可数名词，其前不能用不定冠词，也不能有复数形式。但是它若表示“价钱”或“费用”，则可以用复数形式，若表示“赔偿费”，则必须用复数形式。如：
