put on the back burner

缓议，不急

从前烧柴生火的时代，炉子前面两个炉□火比较旺，后 面两个炉□离火较远，温度较低。所以，把锅子放到后面的 炉口，引申的意思就是「优先级往后挪」。反之，如果是紧 急的或引人瞩目的事件，也可以说是on the front burner。
