sea change这个词组典故是出自莎士比亚的名剧《暴风 雨》(The Tempest)，剧中的小精灵Ariel对青年Ferdinand 唱了首歌，谎称他遭遇船难的父亲巳经死了，经由a sea change晚变成珊瑚和珍珠等。后来，sea change 一词就常 用来表示「脱胎换骨的转变」。
