ad hoc是拉丁文词组，直译成英文是to this。ad是英 文中常见的前缀，解释为to或toward，在拉丁文中可当作 介系词。hoc在英文中比较少用。ad hoc这个词组最常出现 在ad hoc committee 一词中，是指「专为某一目的而成立的 委员会」。这种委员会在处理完该事务后就自动解散。如果是 厂常设委员会」，称为standing committee。
