1)Breakfast
Breakfast should never be skipped. Your body hasn’t had food for 8-10 (or more) hours and is in desperate need of nutrients. Try to eat a balanced breakfast of healthy carbs, fat, and protein. An example would be a whole wheat sandwich with turkey and a handful of peanuts. There are tons of foods that speed up metabolism such as chicken, brocolli, turkey, peas, etc.
2)Fiber
Adding fiber to your diet would make your body work harder to digest the food in your system. Try adding a handful of healthy greens to your meals and watch your metabolism skyrocket!
3)Proteins
When eating meals, try to eat your starchy carbs, your fiber (greens) and your proteins together. We have already mentioned time and time again that you should drink 8-12 glasses of water a day. Water helps your body oxidize fat better and keeps you from binge eating.
