But, as creepy and bad theater student experiment-y as it was, Gaga was fully committed to her act, with Us Weekly reporting that she even went so far as to don a faux weenie to help her get into the act.
The ever popular "source" tells Us Weeky that Lady Gaga not only wore Armani men's undies as Joe, but she also packed them with a Little Joe. Guess she needed something to be pointing at all those times she gestured at her crotch throughout the show.
Gaga stayed in her Joe character throughout the VMAs, which included trying to make out with Britney Spears and telling the VMA audience about Britney, "She is f***ing hot. Didn't you j*** off to Britney when you were a kid?"
Charming.
Gaga's stunt did help boost the network's ratings for the event, as the 2011 VMAs became the highest-rated Video Music Awards show in MTV history -- and MTV's highest-rated telecast, for any program, ever -- with 12.4 million viewers.
