The King of Pop's final resting place has been defaced by 'fans'...
Michael Jackson's tomb has been vandalised.
According to TMZ.com, Jacko's final resting place has been defaced by a group of fans who managed to break into the Great Mausoleum at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The cemetery, where the Thriller singer was buried after his death from cardiac arrest last June has now promised to review security measures following the incident.
An insider told the gossip website: "Activity such as this is a prime example why we are evaluating the level of access to the various entrances of the Great Mausoleum."
The eager fans attacked Jacko's tomb with a marker pen, writing messages such as 'Miss You Sweet Angel' and 'Keep The Dream Alive' as well as one vandal penning the message: "Love You Michael, you're always in my heart. Love Tammy."
The messages were discovered outside the window of the building where the Billie Jean hit maker is buried.
TMZ also claims that MJ fan group, The Official Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California have offered to clean up the doodles…before the cemetery is forced to ban Jacko followers from the tomb forever.
A representative for the fans told the site they want to 'fix this mess' so they can continue its monthly pilgrimage to Michael's burial place.
Forest Lawn, which is on red alert after the breach of security is yet to take the group up on their offer.
