17-year-old Cheyenne Cherry is a rotten little girl. Last year she was busted for using a BB gun to kidnap a dog a gunpoint with her boyfriend. She was also arrested for robbing a man of his iPod at gunpoint. But it appears she was just warming up.
She presumably had a beef with her former roommate, Valerie Hernandez. So along with a 14-year-old friend, she broke into Hernandez's apartment in May, ransacked the place and smashed furniture, then stole DVDs and food.
But just to be a complete dick, the 14-year-old stuck Hernandez's cat in the oven and cranked it to 500 degrees. Then the two girls left, according to police, because they didn't want to hear the cat's cries or the scratching on the oven door as it slowly cooked to death...

But neither animal rights activists nor a judge saw it that way. Some 20,000 people signed an online petition urging harsh punishment for the little girl. Now a judge in the Bronx has sentenced her to two years for burglary and animal cruelty. Her 14-year-old friend got 18 months in juvenile for the same charges.
Despite her guilty plea, Cherry remains unrepentant about killing the cat. As protesters amassed outside the Bronx courtroom, Cherry taunted them by sticking out her tongue and yelled at one, "It's dead, bitch," referring to the cat.
