Michael Douglas Is Now Catherine Zeta-Jones' Caretaker

The tables have turned for Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Just months after Zeta-Jones was speaking out against her husband's doctors in her concern they weren't doing enough to treat his cancer, Douglas is the one working on his wife's behalf to support her struggle with her Bipolar disorder. Check out the luxury treatment Catherine's enjoying from her husband.

We reported early this week that Catherine Zeta-Jones, 41, had been hospitalized with manic depressive symptoms at a Connecticut clinic, and her rep stated that the Oscar-winning actress is now faring very well. A new report reveals that could be due to the fact that her husband of 10 years, Michael Douglas, is such a keen caretaker -- it sounds like the 66-year-old actor is very eager to make sure his wife is comfortable.

A source is revealing the amazing treatments Catherine Zeta-Jones has been enjoying this week, thanks to her husband's concern: "He has been treating Catherine to romantic dinners, spa treatments and lots of emotional support."

Apparently now that Michael Douglas is said to be feeling better after his radiation treatments (he looks amazingly healthy as well!), he feels he owes it to his wife to return the compassion she showed him during his illness last year. "Catherine has been battling these problems for some time but held herself together for Michael," a source who knows the couple said. "But after he was told his tumor had gone, it was time to deal with her issues."

Unfortunately this week there's a new report that Michael Douglas' ex-wife is trying to re-open her alimony case that's been ongoing since their 1997 divorce. Hey Diandra, how about not being such a ball-buster with the timing?
