Natalie Portman had a huge Christmas weekend. The actress announced Monday that she is engaged to Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied, and that the pair are already expecting a child.
Portman, 29, and Millepied will be having a baby together in 2011, the star's rep confirmed to People.
The couple met on the set of Portman's latest film, Black Swan, where Millepied - a classically trained dancer - was choreographing the ballet scenes. The pair had reportedly been quietly dating for months before the recent engagement.
The mom-to-be will now have to work her busy schedule around her pregnancy. She has been nominated for a Golden Globe and a Screen Actor's Guild Award (and possibly an Oscar?) for her role as a troubled ballet dancer in Black Swan, and she appears next in the comedy No Strings Attached with Ashton Kutcher.
It's always huge news when a Hollywood A-lister announces they are engaged or pregnant, but both at the same time? Gossip rags are probably frothing with excitement.
