We hear about the differences between men and women so often-- there always seems to be a new study out surprising us about our lives between the sheets. However, in the newest LimeLife poll, our results showed that women want sex with their partner almost as often as men do.
LimeLife ran a poll lasting 20 days in which men and women were asked ‘How often do you really WANT to have sex?'
32% of men responded that they'd like to have sex every day, while 25% of women responded the same. "Three times a week" was in the top two results for both men and women, with 29% of guys responding with that answer, and 27% of women. Surprisingly close, don't you think?
Our full results were as follows:
Men
32% every day
29% three times a week
18% three times a day
9% every time you sleep with your significant other
7% twice a week
3% once a week
1% once a month
1% twice a month
Women
27% three times a week
25% every day
13% every time you sleep with your significant other
10% twice a week
9% three times a day
8% once a week
5% once a month
3% twice a month
After checking out our data, we came up with a theory. The average age of men polled in our survey was higher than the average age of women-- the highest percentage of men that took our poll was 30-39. That could have helped average things out-- guys are most likely thinking more realistically about sex after they hit their 30s.
If you were going to answer this poll, in what category would you fall: are you more the "every day" type, or the "three times a week" type... or something else? Are you surprised by our results?
