In this paper,an attempt by the murals of Dunhuang Cave 57,"Beautiful Buddha" and Botticelli "The Birth of Venus," these two well-known comparison of classical painting,to explore the aesthetic differences between the traditional Chinese and Western murals,awareness of the East and West traditional values and contemporary significance of the environment.
