The foxfish, Bodianus frenchii, is a wrasse of the genus Bodianus, found in temperate marine waters in south western Western Australia to east South Australia, and from southern Queensland to eastern Tasmania, at depths of between 10 and 40 metres. There is a gap in the distribution of Foxfish through Victoria.
