A series of benzoxazine monomers containing maleimide have been prepared from hydroxyphenylmaleimide,formaldehyde,and different amine derivatives including aniline,4,4’-diaminodiphenyl methane,and aminophenyl propargyl ether. Highly thermostable polybenzoxazines were obtained by the thermal cure of the monomers.
