The dissertation, starting from the view of the culture of The Orthodox Church, with detailed analysis of the texts, displays general features of Russian literature in eyes of the Orthodox Church from three aspects: the concepts of The Orthodox Church in Russian literature, the tradition of hagiology and notion of devil It opens out the nature, connotation and particular culture value of Russian literature as literature of high-class in the world.
