larrikinism
Larrikinism is an Australian name given to their folk tradition of irreverence, mockery of authority and disregard for rigid norms of propriety. According to the Macquarie Dictionary, 'larrikin' has two main uses: "a lout, a hoodlum" and "a mischievous young person".
