Domestic scholars attempt to investigate the motivation of words, sentences and discourse instead of the letters, though they have paid attention to the imagic and pictographic phenomenon of the English language. This paper is intended to only discuss the imagic nature and thinking way of the English language by comparing the denotation of and viewpoint reflected from the featured letters of English words with those of the radicals of Chinese characters.
