The vinyl silazane (VL20) was a kind of liquid ceramic precursor. After photo-curing and moulding, the polymers could be converted into ceramic materials containing C, N and Si elements by high temperature pyrolysis, and was used to fabricate ceramic MEMS and ceramic coatings with high temperature and oxidation resistance.
