There are 10 tracks sites found around Yanguoxia since the first discovery in 1999, in which the site 1 is the largest one including sauropod, theropod, ornithopod and pterosaur tracks. A bird track-bearing horizon also occurs 2m above this level.
甘肃永靖盐锅峡自1999年发现足迹化石以来已经共发现10化石点，其中1号点保存足迹类型最为丰富，包括有蜥脚类、兽脚类、翼龙等足迹化石，且在该岩层面的不到2米的砂岩中发现有鸟类足迹。
